Cape Disappointment, Washington State

Cape Disappointment, located on the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington offers much to the visitor. It is 1,882-acre park offering 152 standard campsites with a maximum site length of 45 feet. Many of the camping loops are located next to the beach with views of the Pacific Ocean. We got lucky and chose site A-15 which had awesome views of the ocean and was sheltered from the winds that kept much of the park cool during our frosty June camping excursion.

Actually, Deception Pass State Park is the most visited state park in Washington, with over 2.5 million visitors a year. And that is without a beach counter like Cape D has to make its attendance look higher.

Just thought you would want to be accurate in your information that you share. Cape D is truly beautiful, no argument there, and a great place to camp.
